1. Rosa now stands as the youngest female Irish BJJ black belt ever, at just 25-years old, as well as setting a record for being the first female black belt from Cork, and being the 6th female Irish-born BJJ black belt ever.

2. Rosa has lots of accomplishments under her belt at every rank, winning the ADCC Open Pro division in Las Vegas via three arm bar submissions, tapping black belt world champion Nathalie Ribeiro in 2022.

3. Rosa won gold at PanAms making her the 2022 Middleweight No-Gi Brown Belt Champion, she was titled the Grapplefest -70kg Champion, and she also won bronze at the 2022 IBJJF European Championships at brown belt.

4. Beyond her personal achievements, Rosa Walsh McCann has dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation of grapplers, sharing her knowledge and wisdom as an instructor and mentor.

Maggie Grindatti Lira is a decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt competitor, coach, and entrepreneur known for her powerful style and well-rounded athleticism. With multiple world titles to her name and a growing impact off the mats, Maggie has become one of the sport’s most respected female athletes. She blends elite-level performance with a passion for helping others grow, both in Jiu-Jitsu and through her business ventures in health and fitness.

    Maggie is a multiple IBJJF World No-Gi Champion, dominating in her weight divisions and proving her place among the best in the sport.

  3. Pan No-Gi and American Nationals Champion

Luccas Lira is a high-level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, competitor, and coach, known for his precise technique, strategic mindset, and calm, effective teaching style. Originally from Brazil, Luccas has made a name for himself internationally, both as a competitor on major stages and as a coach building a strong community through his gym, Lira Jiu-Jitsu.

  1. Superfight Experience on Major Stages
    Luccas has competed in several high-profile superfights, including:
    • UFC Fight Pass Invitational 9 – Defeated Michael Pixley by decision (Dec 2024)
    • ADXC 6 – Won by unanimous decision over Marat Kurbanov (Oct 2024)
    • WNO 26 – Faced Ryan Aitken in a showcase match (Feb 2025)
  2. Co-Founder of Lira Jiu-Jitsu

Hi I’m Brin, the founder of AfriRoll Xscapes. I started my BJJ journey in June 2022 at Apex Gym in Parkmore, Sandton. I became hooked instantly and will never look back. My Passion for BJJ and traveling lead me to meet many like minded people around the world. After an amazing women’s only BJJ camp in Thailand, my idea to one day host a world class camp in South Africa was born.
